Query category: Maintenance

The vehicle must be serviced exclusively by Drivalia's contractual vehicle maintenance partners. You can make a servicing appointment through the digital card DriverPass, through the web form or by calling the Drivalia non-stop hotline for drivers at +420 296 333 666 (extension 3).

You can check the status of your vehicle repair directly with the service partner where the vehicle is located. Upon handover of the vehicle, an order form is issues, which contains the contact details of the service technician who is dealing with the particular case and who has up-to-date information on the progress of the repair.

All installation of additional accessories or equipment must be consulted in advance with your company’s fleet manager. He will then agree and arrange with Drivalia on the type of accessory, the method of installation and its financing.

You can check the validity of the technical inspection directly in the digital card DriverPass, however, we check the validity of the technical inspection on all Drivalia vehicles and inform the company's fleet managers in advance. They in turn decide on the method of arranging the inspection. There are several options how to arrange it, they are described in the communication to the fleet manager.

I need to fill in the engine oil

For information on which oil can be used, please refer to the owner's manual, check the label in the engine compartment or the driver's door pillar.

Most manufacturers recommend using a viscosity of 5W30 or 0W30 for a single fill-up of up to 0.5 liters (the brand is not so important but the specification should always be followed) - the back of the oil bottle shows the specification for the vehicle:

ŠKODA AUTO diesel engines - VW 507.00, VW 509.00 ACEA C3 SKODA AUTO petrol engines - VW 504.00, VW 508.00 ACEA A3/ACEAB4 MERCEDES BENZ petrol and diesel - MB 229.51 BMW petrol and diesel - LL04 RENAULT petrol and diesel - RN 0700, RN0720 OPEL petrol and diesel - GM DEXOS 2 FIAT petrol and diesel - FIAT 9.55535-S1 PEUGEOT petrol and diesel - B71 2296, B71 2290 FORD petrol and diesel - FORD WSS-M2C

The oil level must not be outside the area of the upper and lower lines on the oil dipstick, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the engine and exhaust system. Never postpone the oil fill-up.

If you’re not sure about how to proceed for filling up the oil, please find here the closest contractual servicing partner.

What is the servicing interval?

Always follow the instructions on the board computer. Most manufacturers use a variable service interval where the vehicle evaluates the condition, engine oil degradation and may require a separate stop for a service inspection and engine oil change (short distances, city traffic, frequent starts, ...). Under ideal operating conditions, both services are carried out at the same time, usually once a year or after a prescribed mileage depending on the type of vehicle and engine.

If the difference between the oil change and the regular service is less than 3000 km or 2 months, the service can be carried out at the same time.

If you have a reason for an earlier service (e.g.: a longer trip abroad), you can make an appointment up to 3000 km or 2 months before the scheduled date. However, never exceed the service interval.

I need to exchange the battery in the key

Always follow the operating manual for the vehicle.

If you’re not sure about how to proceed with the battery change, please visit our servicing partner; they will usually make the battery change on the spot.
